How to apply
International Design Business Management (IDBM) is a shared Master’s degree programme of Aalto University School of Economics, School of Art and Design and School of Science and Technology. Applicants must hold a suitable Bachelor’s degree from one of the fields included in the programme (engineering, design or economics). Selected students complete the master's degree in the field in which they hold the previous degree.
The IDBM Master's Program
Altogether 36 students will be selected to start the IDBM Master's Program in Aalto University. The application for the IDBM Master's Program is done through one of the three schools of Aalto University; School of Economics, School of Art and Design and School of Science and Technology. From each school maximum of 12 students are chosen. The student selection process will follow the general student selection criteria of each school of Aalto University based on the applicants' own background. The application period for the IDBM Master's Program is January 4th 2010 - February 26th 2010.
The IDBM Minor Program
IDBM program will be offered also as a minor program. Prerequisites for being accepted to the program are 150 cr studies, an interest in multidisciplinary teamwork and the possibility to follow through a very intense program.
The deadline for applications is April 15th every year. You should include a free-form letter of motivation, CV and your academic record. Send your application to:
